I get this almost similar log file in case of installing. I believe the problem is with registry setting - somewhere I need to change the permission or add or remove some key as the whole process of installing WPF goes fine but in the last step while writing registry values, suddenly roll back happens. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 2.0 using clean up tool etc. Please look at the following log file and tell me if you find the reason for its failure.
I was trying to install WPF inside 3.0 framework.
